We had a great time at breakfast this morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful in choosing menu items since it was our first time. They do not have a dedicated children's menu for breakfast, but they worked with us on splitting a meal for our two daughters, which they both enjoyed. Tou can't beat the view. We all loved getting to watch the planes come and go. A fun experience worth the drive from Cypress!
We loved checking out the Black Walnut Cafe at the Conroe Airport. It was really cool to see the planes take off on the runway while eating our lunch. We really enjoyed chicken wraps, pork belly blt, & burger. It was a really nice setup to sit inside or outdoors.
I don't like to give 5 stars across the board. However, this place is an exception. Incredible food, flavorful and with texture. Reasonable prices for the location and current state of the economy, service and staff are top notch (very friendly and helpful) The atmosphere is unique, offering a sprawling view over the airfield. 10/10. I had the Avocado Bacon Benedict. Highly recommended.
Usually this restaurant has excellent service. Unfortunately yesterday the service was subpar. But the food is always wonderful and very affordable
We stumbled upon this hidden gem over the weekend. The food was incredible and so fresh! The staff was so friendly and warm. The restaurant is order at the cashier and you seat yourself. We had chorizo migas, pancake stack, avocado toast, breakfast croissant, and a cheeseburger with fries. I was also a first time guest and signed up via the app! You get a free starter! The chips and queso were soooooo good! I would highly recommend. The atmosphere was awesome seeing the planes!
Been to three other locations, first time visiting this one. The food at this location is decent. But what makes this location so popular and the reason I’ll be coming back is because it’s next to an airfield. You can sit back and relax and enjoy seeing planes come and go while you eat. Update 1: Have came back a few times since my first visit and I am glad I did. Not sure why I said food was decent the first time around, perhaps it was not hot enough, but they have not disappointed in the follow up visits. Would recommend to visit if you want to have a cool lunch spot!
Recently found out about this hidden gem location. I love the clean restrooms, friendly and helpful staff and the seating options both indoor or outdoor. All entrees brought out to the table were well presented and made you want to just reach over and try someone else's food (just kidding). I enjoyed the meal, price and wait time. I'll be considering here as a new option for breakfast to change up the routine.
Good food, good service, good view! We've been here several times and have yet to have a bad experience. Their menu has several different options for breakfast and lunch, and they're all tasty! I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.
